UCU Expanded ATM Network

UCU has selected a number of ATMs in close proximity to all of our affiliate groups to be service fee free to our members.  Best of all, these ATMs are on the SUM Program, so the ATM owner won't charge our members a surcharge fee.  This is just our way of expanding our ATM network without adding the expense of buying and servicing units, so there are no costs passed onto our members!

SUM Network

"Some people pay a surcharge.  SUM don't."

The convenience of ATMs is great, but the surcharges many institutions impose can really start to add up. UCU members can avoid these charges altogether!  University Credit Union is part of the SUM Network.

Under the SUM program, financial institutions agree to allow other program members' customers to use designated ATMs surcharge free. (Surcharges are the fees you pay when the ATM asks you if you are willing to pay to proceed with your transaction. They come from the owner of the machine. They are not the same as service fees.)

Don’t worry, they’re not hard to find!  Over 300 financial institutions, including Citizens Bank, belong to the SUM Network. Visit www.sum-atm.com to locate ATMs near your home or work or just look for the SUM logo.

NYCE Shared Deposit Program

Now, with the help of NYCE's Shared Deposit Program,

University Credit Union ATM and Debit Card holders are able to make deposits at ATMs of other institutions that participate in this program.

The ATM owner must participate in the NYCE Shared Deposit Program in order for you to use the service.  To find an ATM that accepts NYCE shared deposits near you, visit www.nyce.net.

Funds deposited through the NYCE Shared Deposit Program may take up to five days to clear.  You can always use your ATM/Debit Card to check your balance and confirm that the funds are available before drawing against them.
